EAHGC-NAC Qualifying Classes & Championships

All purebred Arabian breeding horses – fillies, colts, mares and stallions of all ages – whose owners and breeders meet the criteria as small & medium-sized breeders will automatically be entered into their corresponding EAHGC-NAC qualifying class upon paid entry in their ABWC open breeding classes. A single entry fee of $250 will grant all qualified purebred Arabian breeding horses the opportunity to win at both events: the Arabian Breeders World Cup and the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup North American Championship. 

The 2024 Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup North American Championship will be comprised of ten (10) qualifying classes and four (4) championships for purebred Arabian breeding horses.

502. Purebred Arabian Two Year Old Fillies  

503. Purebred Arabian Three Year Old Fillies  

504. Purebred Arabian Senior Mares | Four & Five Years of Age

505. Purebred Arabian Senior Mares | Six Years of Age & Older 

506. Purebred Arabian Yearling Colts

507. Purebred Arabian Two Year Old Colts  

508. Purebred Arabian Three Year Old Colts  

509. Purebred Arabian Senior Stallions | Four & Five Years of Age

510. Purebred Arabian Senior Stallions | Six Years of Age & Older 

511. Purebred Arabian Junior Filly Championship (Three Years of Age & Under)

512. Purebred Arabian Senior Mare Championship (Four Years of Age & Older)

513. Purebred Arabian Junior Colt Championship (Three Years of Age & Under)

514. Purebred Arabian Senior Stallion Championship (Four Years of Age & Older)

According the rules outlined by the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, four (4) EAHGC championship finals will be offered in the Australasian Championship.

  1. Junior Filly Championship | for qualified exhibits from classes 501-503
  2. Senior Mare Championship | for qualified exhibits from classes 504-505
  3. Junior Colt Championship | for qualified exhibits from classes 506-508
  4. Senior Stallion Championship | for qualified exhibits from classes 509-510 

 

Each Junior Championship shall be comprised of nine (9) exhibits:

  • the three highest scoring exhibits from the yearling (filly or colt) class
  • the three highest scoring exhibits from the two year old (filly or colt) class 
  • the three highest scoring exhibits from the three year old (filly or colt) class 

 

Each Senior Championship shall be comprised of six (6) exhibits:

  • the three highest scoring exhibits from the senior exhibit A (mare or stallion) class
  • the three highest scoring exhibits from the senior exhibit B (mare or stallion) class

 

All exhibits will be judged comparatively by the full panel of judges in a Championship Final. All qualified horses for the Championship Final will return to the ring in score order according to age and stand in the following lines as designated by the Ring Steward.

Junior Championships shall be comprised of three (3) lines of three (3) horses each.

  • First Line | yearlings (fillies or colts)
  • Middle Line | two year olds (fillies or colts)
  • Third Line | three year olds (fillies or colts)

 

Senior Championships shall be comprised of two (2) lines of three (3) horses each.

  • First Line | younger senior exhibits from qualifying class A (mares or stallions)
  • Second Line | older senior exhibits from qualifying class B (mares or stallions)

 

Only Gold, Silver & Bronze Champions will be awarded in all EAHGC championship finals. Gold, Silver & Bronze Champions will receive special trophies provided by the EAHGC Organisers.
