Class Procedure & Awards

1. Concurrent Classes:
– All classes run concurrently with the GCAT competition. 
 
2. Auction & Futurity Awards:
– After the Yearling and 2-Year-Old classes are complete, the Auction and Futurity Top 5 will be announced.
– This announcement occurs before the GCAT Top 5 are called.
 
3. Yearling Classes:
– The Top 10 Amateurs in the Yearling class will receive the World Cup Amateur prize money.
– The Top 3 Yearlings will be awarded Bronze, Silver, and Gold on Sunday.
– If a Yearling places in the GCAT Top 10, they will show on Sunday in the GCAT Championship and will also receive GCAT prize money.
 
4. 2- and 3-Year-Old Classes:
– The Top 3 Amateur scores will be awarded Junior Champion Gold, Silver, and Bronze on Sunday.
 
5. 4 & Over Classes (Mares & Stallions):
– The Top 3 Mares and Top 3 Stallions will receive Senior Mare/Stallion Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards on Sunday.
 
6. GCAT Awards:
– All of the above awards will be presented before the GCAT Championship awards.
 
7. Scoring Basis:
– All awards are based on scores earned in the classes on Friday and Saturday.
