2008 ABWC - Judges Comments

The judges for the 2008 AHBA World Cup Championship were professionals who came from five countries and four continents. Although they represented different cultures and points of view, they shared a deep commitment to the Arabian horse. [read more]
Congratulations to Lucy Whittier on being name Breeder of the Year!
With two horses being represented at the 2008 Arabian Breeders World Cup Lucy Whittier won Sr. Stallions and was name Top Five in Jr. Stallions.
Her magnificent bay stallion Arbiteur was named Champion Sr. Stallion in a class of outstanding horses. Her second horse Bey Ambition was named Top Five Jr. Stallion.
To add to this accomplishment both of these incredible stallions were sired by Lucy's senior stallion Regal Actor JP!

The Arabian Horse Breeders Alliance seeks to unite breeders in an effort to enhance their experience with Arabian horses, encourage Arabian horse ownership among others, and generate positive growth and appreciation of the Arabian breed through education, judicious competition, and selective promotion and publicity. Furthermore, the Arabian Horse Breeders Alliance seeks to become a worldwide community of breeders united in their dedication to the Arabian breed as well as thoughtful guardianship of these unique horses for future generations to come.
